CAE Specialist (Computer-aided engineering) to Dellner HQ in Vika, Falun

We’re looking for a skilled CAE Specialist to join our team at our headquarter in Vika, Falun. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an innovative environment with exciting technical challenges and career development potential.
About the Role
As a CAE Specialist, you will play a key role in verifying the strength, durability, and crashworthiness of our products. You’ll work closely with development and design engineers, providing simulations and calculations that ensure our train connection systems meet high safety and quality standards.
Typical tasks include:
• Performing FEA simulations for static strength, fatigue, and crash analyses of couplers and related systems.
• Creating and troubleshooting non-linear explicit and implicit Finite Element models.
• Writing and communicating simulation reports to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to provide technical expertise and support.
• Analyzing and interpreting test results and reports from customers or suppliers.
If you have Matlab experience, you’ll also have the opportunity to develop and refine our energy simulation program, although this is not a requirement.
What We’re Looking For
We believe you have:
• A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with FEA tools, and experience with LS-Dyna or ANSA is an advantage.
• CAD knowledge, preferably with Inventor and Vault.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
