Job Mission:
The Quality Manager enhances product quality and operational efficiency by managing customer claims, standardizing production procedures, and analyzing performance data. This role requires collaboration with various teams to address quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Claims Management: Assist in tracking and resolving customer claims and quality issues, ensuring they are addressed promptly
- Assist in Process Development: Help in developing and standardizing production procedures to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze quality performance data to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with teams in purchasing, engineering, and production to communicate findings and support quality initiatives.
- Quality Issue Identification: Assist in identifying and escalating critical quality issues to the appropriate teams for further action.
- Continuous Improvement Support: Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational processes.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills: Familiarity with quality management software and tools.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of quality control procedures and regulatory requirements.
Soft Competences:
- Good stakeholder management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams
- Effective communication skills
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
- Some experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
