Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Data Engineer for our client in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate is someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions — translating stakeholder requirements into robust, scalable data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data engineering pipelines for data processing and transformation.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.

• Set up and manage Azure DevOps from project initiation to deployment, including configurations, pipelines, releases, deployments, and hotfix management.

• Work actively within Databricks environments, leveraging SQL, Python, and PySpark for data manipulation and analysis.

• Develop and manage solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks Workflows, and Clusters.

• Handle data ingestion (including JSON) and have knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.

• Power BI: Work in BI projects with strong data modeling and business understanding. (Power BI development background a plus)

• Operate effectively within Agile teams and maintain active collaboration with cross-functional colleagues.

• Fluency in English is mandatory

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering.

• Proven track record in designing and implementing data pipelines independently.

• Strong background with Git and DevOps practices.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
