Senior Java Developer Hybrid Opportunity in Sweden

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer for a long-term consulting assignment in Sweden.

📍 Location: Sundsvall, Sweden

🏠 Work Model: Hybrid (partial remote flexibility available depending on project requirements and team planning)

You will work in an agile and collaborative development environment together with cross-functional teams, contributing to the development and maintenance of modern digital solutions. The role involves the full development lifecycle including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop backend solutions using Java and Spring technologies

• Build and maintain APIs and microservices

• Work with CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployments

• Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable applications

• Write unit tests and contribute to code quality improvements

• Participate in agile ceremonies and team collaboration

• Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Java development

• Experience with Spring Boot or related frameworks

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience working with CI/CD environments

• Experience with unit testing and modern development practices

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile teams

Additional Skills Considered Valuable:

• Experience with frontend technologies such as TypeScript or modern JavaScript frameworks

• Knowledge of microservices and API integrations

• Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies

• Understanding of accessibility and secure development standards

Personal Qualities:

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

• Ability to take ownership and responsibility in projects

Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.
