About bout the role

As the Head of Ecommerce, you will lead and optimize teenage engineering’s global online DTC strategy and sales. You will take ownership of sales performance across their digital platforms, including online marketplaces, ensuring both revenue growth and brand integrity. Working closely with the brand marketing and IT teams, you will craft a seamless digital customer experience and implement best practices across global digital sales operations. This is a hands-on role where your ability to both strategize and execute will be critical in shaping the future of their online DTC operations. In this role, you’ll be expected to challenge existing processes and propose new approaches, while also having the flexibility to work within the current framework when necessary.


Main responsibilities
  • Refine website to enhance user experience, strengthen brand identity, and increase conversion rates.
  • Utilize customer feedback, performance metrics, and data analysis to uncover growth opportunities and foster innovation
  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to drive traffic and improve key performance indicators
  • Ensure site content, promotions, and campaigns align with targets and business goals
  • Work collaboratively on initiatives across digital marketing to boost engagement and growth
  • Oversee budget, optimizing resource use to achieve the best return on investment
  • Stay informed about competitors and trends to adjust strategies and stay ahead in the market

Qualifications and requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in online DTC sales management, with a proven track record of developing data-driven strategies to drive growth and improve customer experiences.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, collaborating effectively with brand and IT teams to ensure consistent digital experiences.
  • Valuable experience in online marketplaces, loyalty or membership programs.
  • Expertise in performance marketing and e-commerce platforms.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach, balancing day-to-day operations with a strategic focus on transformation
