Technical Project Manager
Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an alternative Technical Project Manager to join our Västerås team.
In joining us for 12-18 months, you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society, and this is your opportunity to take part in leading those efforts and help drive us to success.
- Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Overseeing a strategic segment of the Drei factory program across all project phases: Design, Procurement, Commissioning, and Startup of process equipment
- Managing project teams and Northvolt partners, ensuring effective communication, technical clarity, and monitoring of schedules and costs
- Handling interface management with Construction Team (CSA, MEP, Clean & Dry room) for equipment installation timeline
- Planning and coordinating basic and detailed engineering design, proactively addressing issues that may impact schedule and costs
- Monitoring and ensuring Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental performance
We believe that you have:
- Master's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, or material science
- Extensive project leadership experience in dynamic industrial environments
- Specialized in industrialization projects and machine/equipment concepts
- Proficient in production facilities and utilities with a focus on quality
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills
- Ability to guide the team in time management and foster a productive culture
- Agile mindset and experience in methodology beneficial
