Senior UI Programmer

As a UI Programmer at Walker Labs, you play a vital role in bringing the user interface to life, making it both functional and visually appealing, and enhancing the overall gaming experience for our players. You will join a small team of programmers and have a close collaboration with the design team.

Responsibilities:

• Help plan and implement new UI features
• Collaborate with artists and designers to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing UI that enhances the overall player experience
• Maintain good code quality and crack down on bugs, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness
• Support less technical disciplines with problems on the Unreal Blueprint side

Qualifications:

• High proficiency in C++ programming, preferably in games
• Knowledge and interest in good UX design looks like
• Knowledge of programming methodologies like design patterns.
• Experience in Unreal 5 and UMG is a big plus
