Job Description Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager a newly created position with us at Nobel Biocare. The position is a part of the management team and will report directly to the Director of operations. The Engineering Manager will be expected to stay at the forefront of industry standards and technological advancements. They will play a critical role in maintaining the company's reputation for high-quality medical device production and will be instrumental in upholding the company's commitment to safety and compliance.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company not only meets but exceeds the stringent requirements of medical device manufacturing, making a significant impact on the quality of patient care. The Engineering Manager will be a champion of change, driving operational excellence and leading their team towards achieving operational goals and objectives. The role includes networking with our sister factories in the USA and the development department, primarily in Switzerland, along with working with network services that enhance the entire Nobel Biocare organization.

Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of qualified experience in a relevant field and in leading the production function.
- Proven experience in technical leadership within the manufacturing industry for medical devices.
- Strong understanding of GMP and its application in medical device production.
- Experience in production technology within a regulated industry, such as medical, lean production, and a global work environment.
- Commitment to EHS principles and experience in implementing safety procedures.
- Commitment to environmental, health, and safety standards, and promoting a culture of safety.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and motivate teams and facilitate effective collaboration between departments and stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle and resolve operational challenges.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

You have a mindset focused on continuous improvement and strive to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. You have a pedagogical approach to conveying information and knowledge to colleagues and are comfortable speaking in front of groups.
