Job description
We at Randstad Life Sciences are currently looking for process engineers with a life science background for future full-time consultant positions.

The scope of the initial assignment varies depending on the client and the assignment. As this is an "open advertisement" to cover future assignments, we have not set yet an assignment length, but the average assignment length is 6 months. Many positions are lab-based, where you will acquire competencies for independent work in an industrial environment. This could include experimental execution, data analysis and presentation, securing compliance within the assigned area, risk assessments and cross discipline work and collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and be responsible for driving processes and product improvement projects.
- Collaboration with the operations department to identify and address pitfalls. Implement additional control steps as needed.
- Create and update documentation as well as implement and monitor validation procedures to ensure processes are efficient and comply with all regulations and guidelines.
- Perform validations between different instruments and processes to ensure their effectiveness and accuracy. This can include processes for cleaning, packing and automatic labeling systems for example.
- Follow quality standards and GMP / ISO guidelines.
- Take responsibility for instruments including maintenance and reporting of eventuel problems.
- Cooperation with internal / external suppliers and stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, chemical engineering, process or mechanical engineering.
- Two years experience as process engineer or laboratory engineer.
- Experience from a biotech or pharmaceutical company where you had the opportunity to work within production is desirable.
- Experience of laboratory work in a GMP regulated lab environment is desirable.
- Experience within programming is desirable.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
