Operations Manager at Sellpy

The Operations Manager has a critical role within Sellpy, managing our entire process of distributing millions of pre-loved items around Europe. As the team's expert in logistics, you spend your days optimising lead times, alternative shipping opportunities including costs, and regulations while gathering valuable input from customer-facing teams at Sellpy. Internal stakeholders will be your open window to our customers, providing hints on potential improvements to the company’s operational methods.

You need an analytic mind to analyse figures and the best possible logistic alternatives. Soft skills will help you succeed in communicating with various partners across the supply chain.

In short, you will

  • Perform carrier management as our point of contact for freight-related topics.
  • Stay on top of local requirements and regulations in Sellpy’s 27 markets.
  • Monitor and optimise lead times for our operation across Europe.
  • Gather feedback from customer-facing stakeholders across the company.
  • Analyse costs and improve operational workflows connected to shipping and freight.

We use

  • Excel or Google Sheets.
  • VLOOKUP for data analysis.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in supply chain, logistics or business administration, or a shorter related education with a couple of years of work experience.
  • At least two years of working experience in a similar field.
  • A track record of analysing numbers to optimise processes.
  • Knowledge of external supplier management.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English, as this is our company language.

Location

Our offices are located in Stockholm and Berlin, and we welcome applicants who can work from one of these locations. You also have the opportunity to combine this with your home office since it’s 2024 and, digital meetings work just as fine.
