Logistics Specialist
We are looking for a dedicated Logistic Specialist to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is part of our excellent team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in building one of the first large-scale European battery factories.
Job Scope:
As a Logistic Specialist, you will be responsible for dedicated support to all logistic topics that arise in Revolt production. Your expertise in logistic solutions and processes will be essential in coordinating interactions with internal customers and stakeholders across all manufacturing areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point of contact and driver for the development and management of logistic topics, including the physical movement of finished products and associated requirements.
- Project manage local implementation projects and improvement initiatives to enhance logistics operations.
- Facilitate the flow of information between stakeholders, ensuring that action takers and decision makers are equipped with the knowledge needed to progress.
- Ensure that appropriate tools, processes, and systems are in place to control materials within Revolt. If such tools do not exist, propose and collaborate on their development and deployment.
- Build a network of internal stakeholders to leverage experience and requirements in developing logistic solutions.
- Coordinate with the Procurement department and Central Warehouse on the ordering of logistic equipment and consumables.
- Work closely with NV Packing Specialists to align storage and transport container requirements, ensuring fit for purpose across Northvolt operations.
- Collaborate with the Production team and all stakeholders to successfully deploy logistic solutions, ensuring they are effective and that your expertise is transferred to operations.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical, chemical, industrial manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics development within the manufacturing industry.
- Competence in industrial methodologies such as value stream analysis, lean manufacturing, FMEA, and design to cost.
- Experience in the battery industry is valuable but not required.
- Technical knowledge or strong interest in ERP systems, automated warehouses, and AGVs.

- Highly execution-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Full-time employment, fixed salary.
