Engineering Manager Capacitors & Surge Arresters
Are you a person who thrives in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities? We are now looking for a solution- and action-oriented Engineering Manager who wants to lead and develop a team of engineers specialized in mechanical construction.
In this role you will be part of a high paced environment located in Ludvika. You will have overall responsibility for an international team of engineers located in both Ludvika and India and the opportunity to collaborate on a global arena with a wide range of stakeholders.
Although you do not need to have an engineering background, we would like you to have a good understanding of mechanical design. Your main task will be to lead, coordinate and develop the department, while ensuring that the projects are driven forward in an efficient and structured way.
The ideal candidate will be a people-oriented leader with ability to make quick and strategic decisions is crucial to creating momentum in the projects. You will also have a key role in attracting, recruiting and retaining talent, which is one of the most important success factors for the department's continued development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Solid experience in leading and developing teams, preferably in technology or mechanical construction
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- A people person who values teamwork and collaboration.
- Has a strong ability to recruit and build high-performing teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Basic knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
