Principal Manufacturing Engineer
Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a principal manufacturing engineer.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Technical leading of Manufacturing Engineering across project on assembly process.
- Generate process specifications and assist in supplier selection for equipment and components.
- Characterize processes, define critical parameters, and establish controls that allow measurement of process capability and monitoring of process performance.
- Define process development plan.
- Continuous identifying the latest technology trends in the industry and benchmarking, scouting technologies.
- Provide technical guides to projects related to assembly process and help each engineer and team grow.
- Provide guidance and technical direction to the process engineering team.
- Check the feasibility of a product design change and provide feedback on whether there is a system that can produce it.
- Key contact for assembly to link with electrode & FA. also, connection to related department.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience within new product and process development.
- • 3+ years of experience leading, guiding and mentoring.
- Familiar with Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), QA troubleshooting tools.
- 6 months+ of production line experience.
- Successful track record of leading process development projects in prototype and production environment.
- Experience with evolving products and processes from prototype through production in a fast-growing environment ideally in the Food, Pharma, Paper & Pulp, Semiconductor, Electrochemical or similar.
- Valuable (but not required) if experience in battery industry.
Specific skills
- Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus.
- Good time management, communication, and ability to prioritise work.
- Ability to work in a high profile and often high-pressured international environment.
