Operations Graduate Program - Production Digitalization Engineer

Production Engineering is a dynamic team of 30 individuals with diverse experience and personalities, united by a shared goal of advancing and innovating technology. We enjoy working closely, having fun during breaks, and supporting each other’s personal and professional development.
Our engineering team is currently embarking on a transformation journey at the factory, which presents significant development opportunities. In this journey, we play a crucial role in shaping the process of tomorrow. Our primary responsibility is to prepare production for both continuous and long-term changes, ensuring the operators who build the trucks have everything they need to succeed. This involves understanding their needs and creating solutions that improve ergonomics, production rate, and quality.
Main activities and responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting both operational and strategic of the plant, ensuring efficient and optimized processes.
You will need to combine theory and practice to see possibilities and limitations of existing and evolving technologies. Also consider how to responsibly apply these in various situations. You will also generate and participate in studies aimed at developing our working methods and standard procedures, driving continuous improvement throughout the organization. The focus will be on finding potential areas for data collection and analysis, as well as implementing tools for improvement within the Engineering organization.
Additionally, you will communicate the need for industrial adaptations and support the development of new processes and technologies to enhance operational efficiency. A significant aspect of this position will be contributing to the plant's industrial digitalization strategy, identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.

Required knowledge/experience:
• BSc or MSc in Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated interest or experience in automation/Technology development
• Proficient in Swedish
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Knowledge in industry 4.0 and in lean manufacturing
• Knowledge in Data science
• Communication skills and stakeholder analysis experience.
• Valid work permit for Sweden if not a citizen.
• Maximum two years of previous full-time working experience, prior to or after graduation. Work during studies are not included.
Meritorious
• Previous experience in a production organization is advantageous
• Business Analyst competence within simulation/optimization tools, data analytics and visualization is a great advantage as well as basic programming and simulation skills.
