Join our team
Deep Automation is Epiroc’s set of systems and applications that together with automated machines comprise an automation solution for material handling in underground mines. To learn more about what you’ll be working with, visit our webpage on Deep Automation or watch our product video on YouTube (Deep Automation - Solutions for Underground Material Handling).
Your mission
As Global Product Manager for Deep Automation – Minetrucks, you will lead the commercialization of our automation solutions by understanding key customer needs and guiding product development at the roadmap level. You’ll be responsible for developing business strategies, pricing models, and marketing initiatives, while also training our global salesforce. In this role, you’ll have close collaboration with teams across the organization and key customers to ensure continuous improvement of product performance. You are essentially the "mini-CEO" of your portfolio within Epiroc!
Your main tasks include:
* Engage with key customers, both in Örebro and globally, to gather insights and address their needs.
* Guide product development using the roadmap, collaborating closely with R&D and technical teams.
* Develop and implement a product strategy that drives growth and market share.
* Create marketing materials with support from Epiroc’s communication experts.
* Assist regional customer centers in selling the product, including reviewing quotations and agreements.
* Lead training sessions for sales teams to ensure a strong understanding of the product offering.
* Ensure effective communication across teams during new product development, working with customers and regional teams.
Your profile
You’re a natural communicator who thrives in social situations and enjoys building strong relationships. You excel at supporting sales teams through training and collaboration, and you’re excited about the possibilities of new technologies. You feel confident discussing advanced systems on a user level and enjoy working across different functions. In this multifaceted role, your ability to manage time effectively and act with integrity will set you up for success.
You have a few years of experience in a similar role—such as in sales, business development, product development, industrial design or project management. Experience in automation, digitalization, or related technical areas is beneficial. A relevant degree in Engineering, Industrial Economics or Industrial Design is advantageous, but relevant work experience is equally valuable. Due to the global nature of the role, fluency in written and spoken English is required, and knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, we look forward to your application. Let’s accelerate the transformation. Together.
Location and travel
This position is based in Örebro, Sweden.
Some international travel will be expected in the role to understand and engage with customers (primarily within the Nordics, North America, and Australia). The extent and timing of travel will depend on business needs and will be determined and initiated by the person in this role.
If a candidate from outside Sweden is selected, Swedish local terms and conditions will apply.
Application and contact information
We encourage you to submit your application through our online career site as soon as possible, but no later than November 19th, 2024.
We are committed to a thorough recruitment process, including interviews, reference checks and assessments.
