Ramboll is now hiring a Head of Department for our infrastructure team in Luleå. In this role, you will lead the department in alignment with Ramboll’s strategy. This means engaging and inspiring the Luleå team to meet clients’ needs and expectations, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. You will also support the strategic objectives of Ramboll’s Division Highways & Infrastructure, driving and developing the regional infrastructure and industry market. You will collaborate with approximately 100 national and international colleagues.

Responsibilities and Goals
Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Leading a growing and profitable business unit.
- Business development, marketing, and sales, particularly for industrial clients.
- Preparing tenders for public procurements with municipalities and Trafikverket.
- Workforce planning, including strategic recruitment and talent management.
- Project ownership with active involvement in projects.
- Driving national and international collaborations.
- Delivering design excellence and transforming design services toward client co-creation.
About You
This role calls for someone with a strong understanding of the infrastructure sector. You might have experience as a project manager in industrial investment or public transport projects, served as a client advisor, or led functions as a consultant or contractor in the construction sector. More specifically, we believe the following description will resonate with you:
- Experience in leadership roles, especially those emphasizing innovation and sustainability.
- A strong network within both the private and public sectors.
- An academic degree or equivalent experience.
- A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to promote teamwork across technical and geographical boundaries.
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
