WHO YOU ARE
You enjoy digital challenges in an environment where everything is changing. You are passionate about solving business pain points and challenges with digital solutions, creating values to our customers and tenants and drive Ingka Centres business results while working in a complex cross-functional environment.
At Ingka Centres, we value people who are energized by our culture and share our commitment to delivering great visitor experience. We’ve embarked on an exciting journey to transform our shopping centres into destinations always anchored by IKEA, and that go way beyond shopping, offering a carefully selected series of activities, events and initiatives tailored to the needs of the communities that surround them. That’s what we call “Meeting Places”. We have big plans for the future that involve expanding to new locations, opening smaller-scale concepts closer to the city centres, digitalization, and most of all, living up to shared sustainability goals.
You have:
· Knowledge to manage a solution life-cycle; adapting and integrating standard solutions through external suppliers, based on prioritised requirements, in an agile way
· Understanding of dependencies between different business areas, their processes and the tools used
· Knowledge of the customers’ whole interaction with Ingka Centres from first encounter to purchase – using digital and physical tools and platforms.
· Knowledge of how to create a place to meet, serve and entertain customers using digital and online tools and platforms.
· Ability to actively acquire new knowledge and skills and leverage new methods, digital systems and processes to improve performance
· Good ability to collaborate (including virtual) and communicate technical concepts and processes clearly at an appropriate level to team members, stakeholders and suppliers
· Ability to encourage simplicity, efficiency, ownership and accountability
· Use digital data and other insights to forecast and detect errors, gaps, and potential flaws.
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
A Product Specialist will ensure new and existing digital product(s) continuously increase business value and user satisfaction, at optimized cost. You will steer the roadmap of the product(s) towards aligned objectives and indicators.
Among other things you will:
• Continuously monitor opportunities for digital product improvements, while executing on product priorities and working with the Product Owner and agile team on implementation.
• Measure, analyse, report and act on the performance and actual impact of the digital product (including connection to business goals and KPIs), to make sure the product reaches its goals.
• Leverages data and insights to understand needs from customers and users related to each digital product. Based on this, support the Product Owner in roadmap priority decisions.
• Contribute to improvements by suggesting, collecting, analysing, challenging and documenting needs and detailed requirements, e.g. functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories, test cases & acceptance criteria, boundary conditions.
• Lead the identification and elaboration of feasible solutions, to maximise value, identify consequences and reduce risks, while managing expectations among stakeholders. Ensure reuse of horizontal/common technical capabilities.
• Work cross-functional to ensure that the agile team has what is needed and remove blocker that prevent the agile team to maximize the delivery of digital products. Involvement in sprint planning (product backlog prioritization) meetings to help provide clarity and elaborate features and user stories to help the team better understand the requirements and how success will be measured.
• Develop extensive knowledge of stakeholders’ needs, interpret and share with the product team, providing context as needed to ensure development and delivery meet expectations.
• Acts as a subject matter expert providing insight and recommendations based on the specific expertise, leveraging industry and technology trends. Support architecture in creation of business blueprints.
• Responsible for the creation of the ‘learning offer’ for the product including training materials and delivery of training.
• Contribute to the performance in relation to set objectives & indicators.
• Contribute to driving consistency in ways of working and toolset and proactively contribute to evolving the digital organisation.
You will report to our Product Manager, and your place of work will be Malmö in Sweden.
