Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Service Engineer, you will work with installation, advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and planning of large-scale service projects for marine and offshore systems. Depending on your experience and interests, you can specialize in hands-on work or on-site project management. You will take on a broad technical role, allowing you to deepen your skills in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and automation while working with a variety of MacGregor's technical solutions, such as ramps, steering machinery, cranes, winches, and hatch covers. If you are interested, you can also develop your customer communication skills, where you will manage the dialogue around spare parts, service needs, and technical solutions to create efficient, sustainable outcomes for customers. You will be part of a team of 15 service engineers, collaborating closely within the team and with additional colleagues based in Copenhagen. The role has an international component, with approximately 100–300 travel days per year, depending on your preferences, primarily within Europe but also to the USA and Asia.
• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as inspection and planning of larger projects
• Practical execution and/or on-site project leadership
• Opportunity for specialization in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and automation or within customer communication
• Part of a team of 15 service engineers
• Approximately 100–300 travel days per year
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
• A few years of experience in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and/or automation
• Experience working on board ships is an advantage
• Driver's license (category B)
• Fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written

You are methodical, systematic, and organize tasks before starting. In this role, you will interact with many customers daily and are comfortable initiating conversations.
