Maintenance Manager

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Maintenance Manager to join our Skellefteå team.

As a Maintenance Manager you will:

• Manage the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
• Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs.
• Design and develop organizational policies relevant to the facilities department.
• Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Key responsibilities

• Supporting in Implementing, managing, and enforcing health and safety policies and procedures.
• Support for setting strategies with purchasing for what need to be maintained internally and for which areas that should be outsourced.
• Supervise all LM staff (technicians, coordinators, planners, engineers etc.) and external contractors.
• Keep financial and non-financial records of the operations within the area.
• Responsible for developing the “4Ms” within the facility area – Manning, Machine, Method and Materials.

Requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent University degree with good understanding of basic financial principles
• Proven leadership
• Minimum 5-10 years' experience of similar role with management and manufacturing
• An example driven management of the shop floor. Resolute 5S
• Fluency in reading, speaking and writing English.

Specific skills

• Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
• Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
