This is what you will do
In the position as Category Manager, you will have responsibility for one of Lantmännen’s largest centrally managed category in the indirect procurement area, MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations).
Taking ownership of the MRO category means working closely to Operations within the Lantmännen Group with a unique opportunity to get insights in our value chain from agriculture to machinery, energy and food production. Working across operations in the Group, you will be exposed to a cross-functional setting, requiring you to focus on stakeholder management, understanding the different needs and requirements of Lantmännen’s diversified businesses. You will partner up with stakeholders from all the Lantmännen Divisions, from senior management to factory and technical managers.
You will develop and execute sourcing strategies for the sub-categories, identify and conduct group-wide sourcing projects both in and outside Sweden, negotiate complex agreements, drive SRM activities, while at the same time ensuring high stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
The position is part of our Central Procurement function at Group level. You will report to the Manager of the Category Management & Sourcing Team and you will be located at Lantmännen’s headquarters in Stockholm. Occasional travelling might occur.
Here's what you need to succeed and thrive
You have:
A degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience from a similar position as Category Manager or Sourcing Manager focused on Indirect categories like MRO, packaging or logistics.
- Experience in manufacturing companies with a complex international structure.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, sourcing strategy, and contract management.
- Proven experience in international, cross-functional sourcing projects with a focus on stakeholder management.
- Analytical, proficient in building fact-based business cases, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
You are:
Able to independently manage complex sourcing projects within a large organization.
- Analytical and Data-Driven, comfortable working with large data sets to make informed decisions.
- Relationship Builder, strong communication skills, adaptable to various levels within the company, with a true skill for stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborative Team Player, where you contribute to team spirit and leads teamwork in a cross-functional environment.
