About the area

Inter IKEA Group is organised in three core businesses - Range, Supply and Retail Concept - and five enabling functions. Together we contribute to the success of IKEA and share responsibility for the franchise offer.

The enabling functions lead key common activities in networks across Inter IKEA Group, as well as cover specific needs for the core businesses. The five Enabling functions are Operations Management, Business Performance & Support, Communication, Sustainability and People & Culture.

About the job

As a solution architect in one of our delivery teams, you will support projects and initiatives that have a need of data exchange by designing and developing integration solutions. You will work in close collaboration with fellow solution architects, enterprise architects and development team members and together you will investigate and determine the most appropriate solutions to address business, performance, operations, and technology needs.

In this role you will get a good overview and understanding of the IKEA IT landscape and you will get the opportunity to build relationships and work with colleagues from several different teams.

Your day-to-day work will require you to understand the fundamentals of various integration technologies such as Kafka, Java Springboot, Oracle Data Integrator and Snaplogic. Moreover, you will support the developers, the testers and the delivery lead in your team with implementation and maintenance of integrations in the Inter IKEA landscape.

More specifically, you will lead and manage the design work in the area of integration, which includes:

• Engage in the end-to-end solution design of integrations in the IT landscape
• Be responsible for the creation and implementation of the integration design
• Engage in and support during development and implementation of integrations
• Give input to integration architecture framework

To be successful in this role you need to:

• Have solid experience and a strong belief in the IKEA values
• Have a solid understanding of and experience of system and/or integration development
• Have knowledge and experience of architectural frameworks and various integration design patterns
• Be curious and eager to find better ways
• Build trustful relationships and long-term partnership with stakeholders at all levels

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) and based in Malmö, Sweden.
