Senior Director Programs
As the Senior Director Programs, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic execution of product launches. You will work closely with Product Directors and cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of program activities, monitor progress against key milestones, and proactively identify potential risks or delays.
Your leadership will be crucial in driving operational excellence and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborating with your Product Directors and other key stakeholders is essential to balance priorities and optimize resource allocation across all products in the portfolio.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leadership & Strategy: Provide vision and strategic direction for the Programs team, aligning initiatives with overall business goals. Mentor and develop a high-performing team of Product Directors.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Development, Process Development, Supply Chain, Operations, and many others to create cohesive Program plans and ensure readiness across all functions.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning and execution of multiple product launches, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Implement best practices for project management and reporting.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Programs and ramp-up efforts. Analyse results and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.
- Market Readiness: Ensure that all products are market-ready by conducting thorough assessments of competitive landscape, customer needs, and operational capabilities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership regarding Program strategies, risks, and opportunities. Present regular updates and recommendations to executives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with product Programs and develop contingency plans to mitigate them effectively.
We believe that you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product launch, project management, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple product launches in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
