If so, we want you to join our team as a Data Community Manager within the AI, Analytics & Data tech center.
In this key role, you’ll take the lead in developing and growing a vibrant data analytics community across the organization, while creating and implementing engaging training programs tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and external partners, you’ll play a crucial part in helping our company build data fluency and accelerate our journey toward becoming a fully data-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Program Development:
– Collaborate closely with platform teams, data governance experts, business partners, and vendors to design and deliver effective onboarding content for the data analytics community.
– Create and update training programs, in partnership with subject matter experts, that help data analysts seamlessly transition to our next-gen platform and stay informed on new features and best practices.
– Lead decision-making forums with relevant stakeholders to establish best practices and ensure clear communication of these decisions to the community.
– Drive initiatives that help move the organization closer to its goal of being data-driven, such as educational workshops, events, and internal training programs.
Building and Nurturing the Data Community:
– Cultivate a strong, engaged data analytics community by promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning.
– Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts to contribute insights and materials for training, demos, case studies, and community events.
– Organize and facilitate community activities such as hackathons, webinars, workshops, and meetups to encourage collaboration and engagement around data-driven initiatives.
Promoting Data Literacy:
– Champion the importance of data literacy throughout the organization and advocate for its integration into all aspects of business decision-making.
– Develop impactful, easy-to-understand content in various formats (newsletters, presentations, videos, infographics, internal communications) to drive awareness and engagement within the data community.
Measuring Impact and Success:
– Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of community engagement and training effectiveness.
– Regularly evaluate progress, provide insights, and recommend improvements to optimize community initiatives and training programs.
Qualifications:
– A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
– At least 5 years of experience in community or program management, or a data-related role with a focus on data-driven initiatives.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create content that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
– A strategic mindset with strong attention to detail, ensuring that all initiatives align with the larger organizational goals.
– Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive decisions and execute programs.
– Experience organizing and executing successful community-building events, both virtual and in-person.
– A strong understanding of current technology trends, with an emphasis on data analytics and AI.
– Data-driven, with the ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative metrics to draw meaningful insights.
– Highly organized with strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Bonus Points:
– Experience leading or growing AI and data communities.
– A background in data analytics or AI, with proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform.
