We are looking for
We are looking for a Software Architect who can take on a broad and dynamic role, balancing strategic vision with hands-on technical leadership. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with the following areas:
- Strategic Collaboration:
- Work closely with software line management on strategic initiatives, including competence development, growth/scaling, business development, and targeting specific industries.
- Establish and maintain relationships with core technology partners (e.g., platform providers, component suppliers, third-party technology providers) to optimize operations and enhance business opportunities.
- Technical Leadership and Hands-On Contribution:
- Provide technical leadership and coordination in requirements gathering, design, bring-up, development, and integration phases.
- Assist PMO in scheduling and planning the software development of projects.
- Actively participate in project development alongside the team.
- Customer Engagement:
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to propose technical solutions aligned with their ideas, visions, and needs.
- Address technical questions from potential customers directly or after investigation.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer needs through thoughtful, creative, and communicative dialogue.
- Support PMO, sales, hardware, and system engineers during the quotation process.
- Customer Communication:
- Collaborate directly with customers to document and present system architecture.
- Explain technical decisions, trade-offs, and their implications in an accessible manner.
Basic Qualifications
- Android AOSP Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of Android AOSP, with a proven track record of successful Android bring-ups on Qualcomm chipsets, including experience with BSP (Board Support Package) integration and device tree configuration.
- Significant hands-on experience with the full Android stack is essential.
- Qualcomm Proficiency:
- Strong expertise in Qualcomm chipsets, tools, and frameworks.
- Service Industry Experience:
- Proven experience working in the service industry, collaborating closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored technical solutions.
Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience
- Embedded Systems Knowledge:
- Familiarity with embedded operating systems and development (e.g., SiLabs, Nordic, ST, FreeRTOS, Yocto Linux) is an advantage.
- AI and Machine Learning Interest:
- Passion for and experience with machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence, and related tools (e.g., TensorFlow).
- Knowledge in areas such as computer vision, object detection, 3D modeling, pose estimation, tracking, SLAM, multimodal models, or natural language processing is a plus.
- Personal Attributes:
- Defined by flexibility and a natural curiosity.

- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, documentation, and writing abilities.
