SAGA Components AB is a leading supplier in the Swedish tech industry, providing innovative solutions to our customers. We are currently seeking a Technical Solution Manager to join our team in Spånga, Stockholm.

Role Description:

As Technical Solution Manager, you will serve as a key intermediary between our sales team, product managers, and suppliers, while working primarily with Swedish customers. This strategic role involves translating complex technical requirements into comprehensive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer needs and develop tailored technical solutions
• Collaborate with sales teams for customer visits throughout Sweden
• Act as technical liaison between sales, product management, and suppliers
• Conduct technical presentations for both internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in trade shows and industry events
• Drive product portfolio improvements based on market analysis
• Take on product management responsibilities in specific technical areas
• Contribute to technical documentation and strategy development

Qualifications: Required:

• Master's or PhD degree in Engineering or Science
• Track record of academic publications in relevant technical fields
• Research experience demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications
• History of contributions to technical conferences and journals
• Comprehensive technical knowledge in electronics, photonics, and telecommunications
• Proven experience in high-tech innovation or R&D environments
• Strong understanding of component-level solutions
• Demonstrated experience in technical sales or solutions engineering
• Established network within academic and industrial sectors
• Experience in research project management and collaboration
• Proven ability to bridge academic research with industrial applications
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
• Swedish language skills are meritorious

Technical Expertise:

• Deep understanding of electronics, photonics and optical communications
• Experience with electronic component integration
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems and standards
• Familiarity with academic research methodologies
• Understanding of technology commercialization processes
