Area Manager
Job Description
As an Area Manager you are responsible for maximizing sales and profitability and lead the area according to brand values, standards, policies and routines together with the store and area team. Always with our customer in focus.
RESPONSIBILITY & MAIN TASKS
As staff responsible, you are responsible for being compliant to company policies and local legislation to secure and protect employee relations and experience.
- You are responsible for reaching the Sales and Profit goals in your Area by setting a plan to deliver a Great Customer Experience
- Responsible for planning and resource management for all expansion in your area
- Lead and update the area team and store managers on business performance, area and company goals
- Receive, prioritize and implement weekly head office actions from concerning budget, goals and results.
- Initiate changes to improve the business together with Store Managers, area team and Head Office.

- Is goal oriented, takes responsibility, drives forward and always achieves what he/she has set to do. Takes the initiative to drive things forward and implement new plans and ideas. Takes actions and make it happen. Is brave enough to try things out and take difficult decisions. The overall area success is the main driver for actions.
Structured & Organized
- Has the ability to overview, plan, organize and put prioritize of your own work as well as support in prioritations for the store management and area team to achieve set goals for area. Needs to be able to break down a long list of requirements to concrete focus areas. Can create an organization that meets the business demand.
Business Minded
- Takes his/her decisions based on an always present sales drive and customer focus Has the will to create the best circumstances for the store to increase sales whilst ensuring best deal for the customer and the company. Focus on the commercial effects of decisions.
Analytic
- Practical problem solver and can overview and see the whole picture for the area. Has the necessary numerical skills to interpret sales and results figures and transform the insights into actions. Is interested in facts and figures and sees them as a tool for the business.
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of expereince managing sales
- Expereince in managing commercial team
- Very good analysis skills and business acumen
- Manage budget and forecast for the stores globally
- Very good background on sales and fashion stores
- Standardize process and implement policies globally

This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible and is based at ARKET's Head Office in Stockholm, Sweden.
