Our Department, Vehicle Software-R&D within Digital and IT, has the accountability to provide digital capabilities to create embedded software that supports services & diagnostics. We provide & facilitate a secure pathway for qualified software deployment.

The agile Team, Software Documentation & Release, is developing Line of Business Applications supporting embedded software documentation configuration and release. Our stakeholders are software engineers developing software used in all products such as trucks, engines, buses, and construction equipment. We have started to migrate our applications to the cloud as Microservices and Single Page Applications and will continue our path towards this.
In addition to this, our strategic focus is on skills that will define the future of IT: automation, modernization, and smart, scalable solutions.

We aim to prioritize expertise in microservices, .Net development, and AI to create innovative, intelligent systems that position us ahead in the industry.

With a few years of experience as a Software Engineer, you’re ready to take on a new challenge. In this team, you’ll play a central role in product development and deliveries, sharing your expertise by coaching peers and helping them build skills in your core areas of knowledge.

Responsibilities:
As part of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for vehicle diagnostics. You will drive modernization efforts by implementing cutting-edge software development practices that streamline configuration and release processes.

Additionally, you’ll identify opportunities to integrate automation and advanced analytics, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Core Skills:
* Development Experience: Skilled in designing, developing, and delivering applications using .NET, C#, and various databases.
* DevSecOps: Experienced in integrating DevOps practices into development workflows, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
* Agile Proficiency: Well versed in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, with hands-on experience in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, fostering continuous improvement and effective collaboration.
* Azure Environment: Proficient in deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications within an Azure environment, ensuring smooth integration with cloud services and infrastructure.


Good to Have:
* Proficiency in GitHub Copilot (or equivalent)
* Proficiency in Docker & Kubernetes
* Experience in using AI and deep learning
* Experience in Python and Azure Machine Learning
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
* Familiarity with data engineering and ETL pipelines
* An understanding of AI/ML best practices and MLOps principles
