Operational Business Manager
An Operational Business Manager is a professional responsible for driving continuous improvement and efficiency across the organization. Oversees the administrative, operational, and resource management functions of a business unit or department. This role ensures that day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently, enabling teams to focus on achieving strategic objectives. The Operational Business Manager acts as a bridge between leadership and operational staff, ensuring alignment with organization’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Business Oversight
• Develop & monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on business metrics.
• Analyze data to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain governance structures.
• Work with leadership to develop and implement strategies.
Process Improvement
• Align operational processes with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to streamline processes.
• Implement best practices and innovative strategies for business support functions.
• Ensure employee buy-in and provide necessary training.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize workflows and reduce costs.
Stakeholder Coordination
• Ensure communication and collaboration across teams.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for senior management.
• Provide reports and recommendations to decision-makers.

• Knowledge of industry-specific practices and regulations.
