The position
At Toyota Material Handling Europe, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and innovation in material handling. As our team expands, we're looking for a dedicated Parts Specialist to enhance our capabilities and ensure seamless parts support. In this role, you'll be instrumental in aligning our parts strategy with market demand, helping us provide on-time delivery of the definition of spare parts allowing for the best local service for our customers.
You'll work collaboratively with colleagues and partners across our extensive network, providing clear guidance and precise parts information to Market Sales Companies (MSCOs), distributors, and dealers. Whether it's a high-performance counterbalance truck or a dynamic warehouse solution, you'll support our products throughout their entire life cycle. Reporting directly to the Group Manager for Parts Service Support, this role offers you the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment where continuous improvement and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do.
Your Responsibility
* Ensure accurate material master data management of spare parts in our ERP System, SAP.
* Manage parts creation, activation and procurement by collaborating with suppliers and ensuring smooth availability.
* Support product changes by acting on engineering orders and handling substitutions with accuracy and efficiency.
* Provide technical support for spare parts, where solutions mainly are available in our technical documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, purchasing and service departments, to enhance parts operations.
* Continuously improve processes and contribute to innovation through Kaizen initiatives.
Your profile
* At least 1-2 years of experience in support, parts & logistics business or purchasing.
* Knowledge of purchasing processes and spare parts management within logistics.
* Technical knowledge of counterbalance and warehouse trucks, including electronics, hydraulics and mechanics is an advantage.
* Experience working with business systems, including SAP, Enovia, T-Doc, Asset and MS Office.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, analytical approach to identifying and resolving issues.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Collaborative, flexible and driven, with a structured working style and strong customer service focus.
* University degree in a technical area or equivalent education or relevant experience.
