TAIGA IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED SEAMSTRESS
Taiga is a leading supplier of functional clothing systems in Sweden and internationally. We are now looking for a new employee for our sewing department. Your tasks will include refining, adjusting, and repairing. Some development of new products may also occur.
Your role includes:
- Sewing details on existing garments
- Sample sewing and cutting
- Alteration sewing
- Repairs
- Incoming goods inspection
- Other tasks in the department
To succeed in your role in our sewing department, you need to have solid sewing knowledge in clothing and be proficient with various industrial sewing machines. Experience in pattern construction, production control, and computer skills are meritorious.
Our garments are technically advanced with great variety, which requires broad sewing competence. You should be service-oriented and solution-oriented, and we place great importance on you being used to taking your own initiatives. You are meticulous, responsible, flexible, and enjoy working with others in a team. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language.
