Maintenance Lead

As a Maintenance Lead in Hydrogen Plant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Hydrogen Plant. Leading a team of skilled technicians and contractors, you’ll provide technical guidance, oversee maintenance activities, and collaborate closely with operations to minimize downtime and keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Preventative & Corrective Maintenance – Ensure all hydrogen plant equipment, including compressors, pumps, and instrumentation, is properly maintained.
• Minimize Downtime & Optimize Efficiency – Align maintenance schedules with production needs, troubleshoot equipment failures, and support operations teams.
• Ensure Safety & Compliance – Implement LOTO procedures, conduct risk assessments, and maintain adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
• Manage Resources & Coordination – Allocate daily resources, collaborate with work planners, and liaise with vendors, contractors, and engineering teams for upgrades or new installations.
• Monitor & Analyze Performance – Track equipment history, analyze downtime, prepare reports, and drive reliability improvements.
• Support Budgeting & Planning – Assist in cost control, manage spare parts inventory, and participate in plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and capital projects.

Qualifications:

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or extensive hands-on experience in maintenance).
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in hydrogen production, petrochemical, gas processing, or refineries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, equipment reliability, and asset management.
• Familiarity with rotating equipment, instrumentation, and process safety management.
• Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to track and optimize maintenance activities.
• Very good English skills (Swedish is a plus).
