Event & Production Manager for Car / Automobile Manufacturer - Freelance (Stockholm)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Freelance Event & Production Manager to oversee and execute high-impact events & activations in Stockholm. This role is ideal for a proactive, highly organized professional with a passion for brand experiences, logistics & production management. You will collaborate with internal teams, agencies & vendors to bring The Automobile Manufacturer’s brand vision to life through engaging events.

You will be working from now until April 2025 at the office in Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Planning & Execution: Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of The Automobile Manufacturer’s events, product launches, brand activations, and sponsorships, e.g: eCarExpo in April at Stockholmsmässan & launch of new model.
• Production Management: Oversee event logistics, technical production, vendor coordination, and site management. Ensure smooth operations and high-quality execution.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with The Automobile Manufacturer’s marketing team, agencies, suppliers & partners to align on event objectives & brand guidelines.
• Budget & Timeline Control: Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts & ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• On-Site Supervision: Lead event setup, oversee production teams, and handle any troubleshooting on-site to ensure a seamless experience.
• Brand Representation: Ensure that The Automobile Manufacturer’s brand identity is consistently reflected in all event elements, including signage, branding & customer experience.
• Sustainability & Innovation: Integrate sustainable & innovative solutions into events, aligning with The Automobile Manufacturer’s commitment to eco-friendly practices.

Who You Are

• Proven experience (5+ years) in event production, project management or brand activations, preferably within automotive, tech or premium lifestyle industries.
• Strong understanding of event logistics, technical production & experiential marketing.
• Excellent organizational & multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication & negotiation skills, with experience in managing vendors & agencies.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to troubleshoot & adapt under pressure.
• Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken & written).
• Skilled in Microsoft / PC environment
• A network of reliable event suppliers, venues & production contacts in Stockholm & Nordic Region are a plus.
