We are seeking an experienced and self-going Senior Embedded Software Engineer to our experienced and knowledgeable Engineer team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development and maintenance of embedded systems in our products. This role involves partnering with colleagues globally and working in cross-functional teams to drive and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Main Purpose

• Design, develop, and integrate embedded SW programs based on stakeholders’ requirements.
• Follow the ASPICE V-Cycle reference model recommendations. (SWE1, SWE2, SWE3, SWE4, SWE5, SWE6).
• Perform unit test, debug, and maintain the developed SW programs.
• Be a part of code and design reviews of the SW teams.
• Work, collaborate, communicate and be a part of the larger SW team.
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources

Education

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in project in Engineering with strong academic results, or equivalent background.

Experience and requirements

• Minimum 15 years of work experience, know-how and skills from working as an Embedded Software Engineer preferably within Automotive industry.
• Embedded Systems SW development
• C/C++ programming skills
• Version control using version control system (BitBucket, Git etc)
• Embedded Operating Systems (QNX, Embedded Linux, OSEK)
• Open-Source development (FOSS)
• Vehicle communication CAN, LIN, Ethernet
• SW requirements handling with DOORS-NG or similar.
• SW architecture and design (UML)
• AUTOSAR classic and adaptive
• MISRA coding guidelines
• SW integration and qualification techniques
• Agile development (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban etc)
• SWCM and build systems (Make, Ant etc)
• Scripting languages (Python, Perl etc.)
• Safety and ISO26262
• CyberSecurity and ISO21434
• Familiar with MCU and SoC embedded architecture
