Job Summary
Join the Technical Professional Services Category Team within Supplier Management Equipment Projects and Services (EP&S) segment as a Supplier Manager responsible for the Maintenance & Repair category. This is a pivotal role in leading the Maintenance & Repair Category, where you will shape and lead the Category Strategy. This position is a 12-month rotation to cover a maternity leave and can be based in Europe or the US (Winsted or Vernon Hills office).
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Manager who works independently, in close collaboration with business stakeholders, and in cooperation with the Supplier Management community across the entire organization. The supplier relationship management part of the job includes proactive engagement to facilitate value-adding development, supplier-enabled innovation, continuous improvements, and strong business understanding.
What you will do
As Supplier Manager M&R Category, you will:
- Develop and deploy expertise within the Services Maintenance & Repair category to maximize the potential of the supplier market and value for the Services business.
- Be a value-adding and trusted business partner for Services.
- Secure supply and performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost for the overall category.
- Develop and maintain relationships and take a business partnering approach towards key stakeholders.
- Lead and manage sourcing and contracting activities as per strategy.
- Have end-to-end category responsibility and secure early involvement with business stakeholders representing Supplier Management.
We believe you have
- 5 years of experience in Procurement or experience in business development.
- Experience and knowledge in the Services Maintenance & Repair category will be considered a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and change management skills.
- Ability to break silos and work effectively as a team player, driving change through informal leadership.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and a strong drive to improve team efficiency and productivity.
