Buyer - Contract 6 months

We are looking for an experienced buyer for an exciting opportunity with our client in the transportation industry, located in Solna, Stockholm. This is a full-time (40h/week) consultancy assignment with an initial duration of 6 months. Start immediately or as soon as possible!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the selection of suppliers, create contracts, and manage their execution.
• Prepare and send requests for quotation and handle supplier negotiations.
• Monitor project quality, cost, delivery, and timing to ensure contracts are followed.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality, especially during the project ramp-up phase.
• Help develop commodity strategies and work with the Commodity Manager.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, track their performance, and drive improvements.
• Proactively manage risks and solve supplier issues.
• Focus on saving costs, meeting targets, and ensuring supplier compliance.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration

0–5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement

Strong knowledge of contract management and legal considerations

Fluent in English, both oral and written
