Chief Product Owner (CPO) for the SuccessFactors Suite:
- Scope and Responsibility:
- Oversees the entire SAP SuccessFactors suite, ensuring alignment with Scania's overall HR strategy and business objectives.
- Responsible for the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization across all SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Recruiting, Compensation, etc.).
- Act as key advisor / decision maker in topics affecting the overall integrity of the suite and how it is applied to global people processes.
- Safeguard the global template and proactively works to maintain and improve common ways of working in the global P&C community.
- Balances and aligns requirements from different business units and stakeholders, ensuring consistency and integration across modules.
- Leads in advisory towards the business, enabling large scale adoption and enabling decommissioning of competing capabilities. This is achieved through dialogue and awareness of product capabilities.
- When needed, manages and allocates resources across modules, coordinating efforts among module-specific product owners.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, representing the suite’s value and progress.
- Act as technical expert and escalation point for unresolved matters.
- Works together to co-steer the SAP SuccessFactors landscape with the relevant Architect.
- Act as global design authority on topics impacting the global data model and role-based permissions.
- Ownership & Advisory: Serve as the global strategic advisor for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Compensation, and Variable Pay modules, providing expert-level guidance and oversight.
- HR Transformation: Lead the development and execution of standardized, efficient, and automated HR system processes across all Scania Group locations.
- Industry Best Practice: Lead the organisation by contribution with industry best practices in the application of SuccessFactors software to the P&C global business context.
- Landscape Roadmaps: Design and manage both short and long-term SuccessFactors roadmaps, ensuring they align with business objectives and SAP’s ongoing enhancements.
- Enhancement Rollout: Stay abreast of the SAP SuccessFactors roadmap, ensuring successful implementation of new features and functionality at Scania.
- System Decommissioning: Actively contribute to decommissioning plans for legacy systems, providing advisory expertise where needed.
- Global HR Standardization: Drive Scania’s global digital HR transformation strategy, ensuring consistency and scalability across 59 countries.
- Decision-Making and Governance:
- Makes high-level decisions on the platform’s architecture, integrations, and long-term scalability.
- Sets strategic priorities, ensuring modules evolve cohesively without conflicting functionalities.
- Participate in the P&C governance structure, communities of expertise and decision forums as required pertaining to the SAP SuccessFactors suite.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Set an example for a team of module-specific Product Owners, guiding them on best practices, priorities, and strategic direction.
- Fosters cross-functional collaboration among HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and adoption.
