Water Treatment & Site Water Management Lead
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train the team, providing coaching and direction.
- Service Partnership: Oversee WTP 1 & WTP 2, including chemical supply, service contracts, and lifecycle management.
- Water Quality Compliance: Ensure compliance in water and wastewater monitoring, advising operational teams.
- Asset Reliability & Optimization: Develop long-term infrastructure reliability plans, ensuring proactive asset management and cost efficiency.
- Pipeline & Water Systems Management: Oversee the distribution network, potable water systems, and stormwater/sewer systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Budget & Resource Allocation: Control O&M budgets for WTP 1 & 2, chemical supply, and service contracts, ensuring cost-effective water management.
- Service & Efficiency Improvements: Lead service partner agreements, drive water treatment optimization, and reduce chemical consumption while maintaining operational excellence.
- Risk & Governance: Ensure regulatory compliance in water management, contract adherence, and governance of water assets.
- Cross-Functional & External Collaboration: Represent Stegra Operations in strategic projects, align water management policies with business goals, and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Degree Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
- Certifications: Water treatment process or environmental compliance certifications are advantageous.
- Industry Expertise: 8+ years in water treatment and process engineering, including large-scale operations and heavy industry experience.
- Operational & Compliance Knowledge: Experience in contract management, budgeting, cost optimization, ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance, and project startups/commissioning.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Expertise in ultrafiltration, demineralization, wastewater treatment, plant performance analysis, and project management.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, cross-functional team leadership, familiarity with Swedish labor laws, and fluency in English (basic Swedish is a plus).
