Scania Finans AB is a financial services company within the business area Scania Financial Services. We offer financing and insurance of Scania products through our seven branches and business units in the Nordic and Baltic countries. With a customer finance portfolio that exceeds 24 billion SEK, Scania Finans AB is the largest financial services company within Scania. The company has around 100 employees, of which half are located at the headquarters in Södertälje.

Role Summary

As an Insurance Business Developer at Scania, you will be instrumental in overseeing and improving the performance of our Insurance Programs. This includes collaborating with various stakeholders such as insurers, workshops, sales & rental teams, and business units across the Nordic and Baltic markets. In this role you will support markets with profitability insights, contribute to accident prevention work and other improvement initiatives to build sustainably profitable insurance programs in line with the Scania and TRATON Financial Services Insurance Strategy.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow up on operational and financial insurance results, and portfolio performance
• Identify deviations and proactively drive continuous improvement work
• Collaborate cross-functionally with insurers, workshops, business units, and other stakeholders to act on opportunities and business potentials
• Continuously develop the product and service range and provide indirect support for sales and contract management
• Drive or actively participate in insurance projects at Scania or TRATON FS level
• Contribute to the implementation of new insurance products, services and processes to optimize customer uptime
• Oversee and coordinate overall and day-to-day operations in applicable teams/departments
• Safeguard portfolio performance by understanding quality and cost control of workshop repair quotes and claim management process efficiency

Who You Are

You’re someone with strong interpersonal skills who have an eye for business development. To be successful in this role we also believe that:

• You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
• You have proven experience in business development, sales, or similar role related to the insurance industry, such as:

Insurance Business experience (Sales, administration, claims handling or similar)

Banking or Insurance Broker experience, selling or administrating insurance and/or financing solutions

Truck or transportation business experience connected to claims or other insurance related tasks (sales, service/workshop processes, after-sales, or administration)

• You are an excellent communicator, that build strong relations through collaboration
• You are innovative and result oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
• You are fluent in English and Swedish
