Test Automation

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation & Embedded Developer to join an innovative team, focusing on enhancing automated testing capabilities for embedded products. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge embedded technologies, improving regression testing and ensuring the highest level of device quality through advanced test automation.

The position requires on-site presence (100%) and is a long-term opportunity for candidates eager to contribute to an evolving test infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong embedded development skills, be able to quickly understand existing test environments, and possess the ability to diagnose issues within both the test system and device firmware.

Key Responsibilities:

– Transition existing test cases to run on host environments, reducing reliance on hardware-dependent execution.

– Optimize test execution times to enhance efficiency and speed.

– Develop support for new embedded platforms and integrate them into the test environment.

– Establish Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines for new devices to streamline automated testing workflows.

– Increase test coverage by designing and automating integration, end-to-end (E2E), and stress tests.

– Troubleshoot failing test cases, identifying whether the issue stems from the test script, system infrastructure, or device firmware.

– When necessary, debug and resolve firmware issues, requiring strong embedded development skills and an understanding of system-level problem-solving.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔ Extensive experience in embedded development, including debugging and optimization.

✔ Deep understanding of bootloaders, firmware updates, device drivers, wireless communication (BLE), and RTOS environments.

✔ Strong proficiency in C/C++, with experience working in FreeRTOS-based systems.

✔ Hands-on experience with performance optimization and debugging embedded systems using JTAG.

✔ Ability to analyze root causes of failures across test systems and embedded devices.

✔ Previous experience working with test automation systems, with a strong willingness to contribute to their development and enhancement.

✔ Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose firmware issues and implement necessary fixes.

✔ Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
