Test engineer e-mobility

Role Summary
Interested to contribute in testing our new products for the future within electrification maybe this is something for you! In our team KETO, Test operation, you will work with development and testing of our e-mobility and hybrid solutions were the target is ensuring products with the right quality, high efficiency and optimal performance. The different systems and requirements are balanced to meet our high standards for a wide spectrum of customer applications as well as our own targets such as reduction of our climate impact. With lots of internal cross functional contacts and travels to customers the role will give you a great possibility to create a wide network within Scania and our partners.
Job Responsibilities
Your main focus will be our e-mobility solutions but experience within combustion engines are beneficial as we have field tests for both hybrids and combustion engines within our teams responsibility. Tasks within your role will be various testing and managing of our data loggers and measurement equipment fitted on our field test carriers. Cross functional cooperation including planning and coordination as well as data collection/analysis will be other parts of your responsibilities. Furthermore to develop, maintain and enhance test methodologies while building up the field test frameworks.
Who You Are
You have good communication skills and are curious about breaking new ground in complex systems. In order to be successful as a test engineer e-mobility you have good knowledge of electrical systems, test and verification. Our customers expectation are high which requiring a combination of both structure and flexibility. You like to influence your work situation and will be given the opportunity to do so and to your assistance you have a group of really skilled colleagues.
This Is Us
The team is responsible for Power Solutions test operations which includes preparing our test units, perform HW tests as well as running and maintaining all our field tests. We also support our in-house test beds to ensure a smooth and efficient R&D operation. Out on the field today we currently have both Internal combustion engines, hybrid e-mobility solutions and will soon start our first Battery Electric Vehicle field test. We are today 9 enthusiastic colleagues with a broad competence, both engineers as well as mechanics. Maintaining a highly efficient team with psychological safety and a good portion of fun at work is key for us and we now looking forward to strengthen the team with another test engineer.
