As a Senior Power BI Developer at Avenga x Qinshift, you'll join our Data Analytics and BI Team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective data solutions. You will design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI while creating clear data models that integrate information from multiple sources.

Beyond technical development, you will play a key role in supporting the clients with the implementation and strategic use of Power BI. This includes guiding clients on best practices, helping them optimize their BI environments, and ensuring they get the most out of their investment. You’ll work with stakeholders to build data strategies, establish governance models, and foster a data-driven culture.

Additionally, you’ll provide hands-on support and training to end-users, empowering them to confidently use Power BI for their analytical needs.

You are an analytical and curious individual who thrives on exploring data to uncover meaningful insights. With a clear and effective communication style, you can explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you enjoy working closely with teams and clients to tackle challenges and develop solutions. As a mentor, you are eager to support and guide junior team members, helping them grow in their roles. As part of the team, you'll stay curious and engaged, keeping up with the latest trends in business intelligence and data analytics and sharing fresh ideas to push innovation forward

With over four years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or similar roles, you have worked with large-scale BI solutions in complex environments. You possess a strong understanding of both business needs and technical solutions, allowing you to bridge the gap between data and decision-making effectively.

Skills:

• Data Visualization: Skilled at creating clear, impactful dashboards and reports
• DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Strong experience writing calculations and measures
• Power Query: Confident in transforming and integrating data from multiple sources
• Data Modelling: Experience building and optimizing data models
• Data Integration: Familiarity with Power BI Gateway for secure data access
• Performance Optimization: Knowledge of how to make data models and reports run efficiently
• Power BI Service: Comfortable managing report publishing, workspaces, and security settings

Nice-to-have skills:

• ETL and Data Pipelines: Experience with Azure Data Factory or SSIS
• Cloud Data Warehousing: Familiarity with SQL Data Warehouse or Snowflake
• Version Control: Experience using GIT for collaborative development
• Microsoft Fabric: Understanding core components, data integration and transformation
