DFT Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DFT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cadence tools and a strong background in implementing and optimizing Design for Testability strategies for complex semiconductor designs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testability, reduce costs, and improve product quality through innovative DFT methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement DFT strategies for advanced semiconductor designs using Cadence tools such as Modus DFT Software Solution.
• 
  
• Perform scan insertion, ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation), and BIST (Built-In Self-Test) implementation.
• 
  
• Collaborate with design and verification teams to ensure seamless integration of DFT features into the design flow.
• 
  
• Optimize test coverage and efficiency while minimizing test costs and time-to-market.
• 
  
• Analyze test data to identify and resolve manufacturing test issues.
• 
  
• Generate and review DFT documentation, including test plans, specifications, and reports.
• 
  
• Support post-silicon validation and debug efforts.
• 
  
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in DFT methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 
  
• Proven experience in DFT, including scan insertion, ATPG, BIST, and boundary scan.
• 
  
• Proficiency with Cadence tools, particularly Modus DFT Software Solution.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of digital design, verification, and test principles.
• 
  
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL is a plus.
• 
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• 
  
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with low-power design and testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of advanced fault models and diagnostics.
• 
  
• Experience with FinFET SRAMs and automotive safety applications.
