SAP Software Asset Manager

Skills Required:

• Demonstrated professional expertise in license management, administration, software licensing, and SAP Software Asset Management (SAM)

• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP licensing principles, contractual aspects, and audit processes, with hands-on experience

• Familiarity with ServiceNow SAM Pro (preferred)

• Proven ability to work effectively in global, cross-cultural environments

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• Strong sense of end-to-end responsibility and ownership

• Proficiency in analyzing multi-source data

• Technical background (considered an advantage)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee license consumption metering processes, including software and consumption-based licenses. Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with SAP licensing terms, addressing gaps or risks as needed.

• Analyze license usage to optimize allocation and identify underutilized licenses, reassignment opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
• 
  
• Maintain a centralized repository for SAP license contracts, agreements, POs, and invoices. Ensure documents are up-to-date, well-documented, and accessible. Engage with SAP vendors when necessary.
• 
  
• Support the procurement of software in adherence to client policies.
• 
  
• Assist in preparing and monitoring the budget for software licenses and products.
• 
  
• Provide support during external audit processes.
• 
  
• Advise project, program, infrastructure, and application portfolio managers on software licensing compliance and optimizations to streamline the portfolio.
• 
  
• Generate internal SAP licensing reports, including compliance analysis.
