Production Manager

Electrolux Professional is looking for a new Production Manager to join the production Team in Ljungby, Sweden.

Our new Production Manager will plan, direct and monitor all production activities within a wider and/or more complex production area, to meet established production specifications and schedules, volume, cost, waste and quality standards. Always with safety as highest priority.

Production Manager report operationally to the Factory Manager and is a member of the local Management Team.

The Production Management Team includes 6 Production Supervisors and one assistant. A total team of 220 employees.

The Production in Ljungby includes manufacturing area (with punching machines, panel bender, bending machine, press breaks, presses, turning machines, welding, soldering and paint shop) and assembly area (with electrical and mechanical sub assembly, 5 assembly lines and assembly stations for bigger machines)

As Production Manager you will face an interesting future in the factory where we reorganise the factory layout and plan for production of new generation of washers and dryers for the coming years.

You will work in close cooperation with departments for planning, quality, process engineering and technical.

Main tasks

• To develop the leadership methods
• To act on deviations in performance
• To ensure respect of quality standards following the Quality Systems procedures
• To define actions, priorities and working activities for continuous improvement according to lean methodology
• To ensure that production activities are performed in safety conditions according to the law and to company safety procedure
• Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Coaching and developing production team members individually
• Be a professional colleague and team player, conducting business ethically, responsibly and in accordance with Electrolux Professional corporate guidelines

Key responsibilities

• Delivering on KPI´s agreed
• Ensuring that production is continually improved on targets in safety, quality, productivity and costs by applying lean
• Coming up with action plans and executing them to correct under performance
• Leading and motivating the production organization. This will include performance review, recruitment, education and development according to Electrolux Professional guideline

Our new Production Manager has a genuine interest in production and to run processes for continuous improvement. Our new production Manager has good skills in communication and is convinced that the team receive goals together!

Education and experience

To be successful in this role, we believe you have at least 5 years’ experience working with similar roles in manufacturing environment. We also believe you have a university degree, preferably within the field of engineering. Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
