Role Summary

Then we would like to welcome you as a Solution Architect in our team at Scania!

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Solution Architect to join our Business Intelligence (BI) Group. The Solution Architect will play a crucial role in designing and implementing end-to-end BI solutions, ensuring seamless integration of on-premises and cloud technologies. This position requires a strong understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting development, as well as the ability to lead strategic discussions and foster a data-first culture within the team.

Job Responsibilities

· Design end-to-end BI solutions, considering both on-premises and cloud technologies, and develop migration strategies.

· Assist Teams in their project journeys and help create architecture and data model diagrams and documents. Provide recommendations to developers for enhancements and guide them as needed.

· Model data to create clean, accurate datasets that are easy to understand and use.

· Lead the development of ETL/ELT processes, as well as the physical and logical layers of the data warehouse for PowerBI consumption. Explore, Design various integration patterns to meet customer needs.

· Oversee reporting development and monitor end-to-end processes daily, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Connect with Delivery Managers and BI Managers of the groups.

· Work as a data expert in strategic discussions with key stakeholders and promote a data-first culture within and outside the team.

· Drive best practices and standards within teams. Engage in guilds and Forum meetings for brainstorming and idea discussions.

Who You Are

IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, WE SEE THAT YOU HAVE

· 5+years working as Solution Architect

· Overall 8+ years of experience in IT with at least 5+ years’ experience working as in BI development (data and analytics) with good knowledge of working with Cloud Technologies and support.

· Experience in Developing Solutions for Data Analytics, Data Lakes Applications using Snowflake/AWS Services.

· Deep knowledge about dimensional modelling, data access and data storage

· Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.

· Working experience with both low code and high code environments for ETL such as Matillion, ODI, DBT

· Knowledge of BI/DW tools.

· Understanding on git branching, Push and Pull code to and from git repository.

· Strong English language skills.

· Involved in requirement gathering for reporting application and collaborated with customer.

· Technical lead experience meriting

· BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

· Experience of agile (JIRA) methods and DevOps to deliver value continuously.
