Role Summary

Group Supply Chain Planning is a newly established team which works from a TRATON perspective with Supply Chain Planning. We are currently looking for an experienced Supply chain developer. In this dynamic role, you will focus on supply chain planning from a TRATON perspective, creating and refining processes to secure supply chain capacity to meet the growing demands of our customers.

Role Responsibilities

As a Supply chain developer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing supply chain planning processes and tools.

Your work will involve gaining a deep understanding of how different brands operate, and identifying the information and processes that needs to be shared within the TRATON group. You will explore how different outcomes impact various supply chain actors and ensure that processes are efficient and aligned between the brands.

You will work in close collaboration with Supply chain planners, who will have the main responsibility in operating the processes that you develop, and also other developers. Together you will ensure that the outcome of the processes meet the demands from the organization.

A crucial part of your role will be distinguishing which decisions should be made at the brand level versus those requiring a group-level approach. You will redesign cross-brand forums for effective information sharing and play a key role in shaping the group governance for supply chain planning.

This is a highly collaborative position that will require innovative thinking and a strategic mindset to harmonize the processes across the organization. You will have daily interactions with different stakeholders within the TRATON organization, including production, market, procurement, and supply chain teams from the different brands.

Who You Are

We are looking for a candidate with a proven experience in supply chain operations and a strong background in process development. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that will require you to handle complex situations - every day will bring new challenges and new opportunities for growth. Therefore, you need to be self-driven and comfortable with untangling situations that are not yet clear.

You are analytic while maintaining a strategic focus on the bigger picture. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will engage with teams across brands and functions. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams are key traits for this role. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.

You have strong skills in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with data-driven analytics tools, such as Power BI, is considered an advantage.

A relevant university degree, complemented by a several years of professional experience in supply chain, production planning, or related fields.

With a positive and proactive mindset, you thrive both independently and in collaboration with others. You’re solution-oriented, adaptable to change, and able to maintain a strategic focus. As this is a new role, your curiosity, drive to learn, and willingness to grow with the position will be key to your success.
