Pre-installation equipment acceptance support

To one of our important customers in Lund we are seeking for a Pre-installation equipment acceptance support Engineer.

The roll will Support the project organisation to ensure that equipment and components that are to be incorporated into the facility fulfil relevant directives and standards.

Expertise needed

Minimum 7 years’ experience in leading/handling equipment compliance assessments and CE-marking of complex equipment or similar comparable tasks. Proven knowledge in relevant EU directives and standards such as, but not limited to: • Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) • Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU) • Electro Magnetic Compatibility (2014/30/EU) Good written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English. Strong organizational and technical document management capabilities.

Profile

We are looking for a person that can work within a small team conducting equipment approval activities on scientific equipment as part of a construction project under time pressure. Support is required to process the documentation, work through issues with stakeholders and chase progress to keep activities on track. It requires a balance of rigour, and an open minded & solution-oriented mindset.
