Summer worker – Occupational Health, Safety & Environment

About the position
We are now looking to appoint a summer worker for the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHS&E) group in the Environment, Safety, Health & Security (ESH&S) division.
The group is responsible for developing, supporting, monitoring and assuring the implementation of policies, rules, procedures, objectives, and best practices at all levels of the organisation in matters of OHS&E.
As an OHS&E summer worker your main tasks will be to update ESS rules with the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s new regulatory structure and help mapping requirements, prepare material to develop an online ergonomic training, and update/develop the rules for non-flammable compressed gas handling and storage.
About you
A suitable background for this position would be:
• Education and/or work experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Knowledge of the Swedish Work Environment Authority regulations.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Swedish.
• Minimum age 18 years.
We believe that you enjoy communicating and collaborating with a variety of people in an international environment. You are good at taking initiative and not afraid to ask questions.
You are accustomed to using various, regular IT tools and programs, and find it easy to learn new systems.
Duration and location
This is a summer work position of 6 to 8 weeks.
Planned start date is 16th June, 2025 or per agreement.
Your workplace is on-site at ESS in Lund, Sweden.
