Enterprise MDM Digital Product Owner

What you will do

Your job is to take over the lead for delivery of a modern master data management platform, aggregating the single source of truth for Volvo Group business partners.

Responsibilities are to:

• Own the Volvo Group Enterprise Master Data Management Platform Product and related projects in scope,
• Lead the setup of new Master Data Management Platform based on leading COTS technology (Informatica IDMC MDM platform currently), and execute the related roadmap
• Lead the team responsible for developing and deploying this product in the organization, while also engaging in the operational work,
• Lead the transformation journey to emboard the organization, organizing release management, communication, trainings,
• Define the priorities for the team according to the stable team framework and underlying methodologies and tools
• Manage dependencies with other Digital products to build a consistent overall process and architecture, leveraging on data quality, data products, etc.
• Work closely with the whole data unit and business counterparts to ensure business engagement and ultimately create value from data.
• Work closely with the whole master data unit to promote commonalization and shared strategy, principles and guidelines throughout domains, and define possible transition plans from current technology and processes to the new platform
• Ensure that all aspects of the legal framework are implemented in processes.

• Have good Knowledge of Software Product Management,
• Have an open multi-brand and multi-cultural mindset,
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have ability to drive for results and to take initiatives and drive certain actions on your own -leadership and empowerment,
• Have excellent prioritization skills and ability to eliminate roadblocks,
• Be business and customer oriented,
• Be passionate and become the ambassador for your product
• have product owner certification (good to have)

Required Competences:

• Documented experience and implementation track record within Data Governance, Master Data Management, or Data management in general
• Documented experience of a magic quadrant master data management tooling suite, or of some Volvo-developed master data management system,
• Strong leadership skills and experience leading teams in agile, iterative work.
• Can-do attitude paired with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Great structuring and organizing skills.
• Management of relationships with software and services provider to ensure resolutions of incidents and influence the provider product roadmap

If some competences are missing, some trainings will be possibly organized.
