What do we do?
We belong to System Complete in Electromobility. A dynamic department in the forefront of digital transformation working with digital service enablers for electromobility systems and delivering customer values for Volvo business units such as trucks & buses.
You will be part of the Productivity Services team. We are a very diverse team with different genders, nationalities, and areas of expertise. One of our deliveries is an advanced energy prediction algorithm. This algorithm can be used in all phases of the product cycle: development, pre-sales, pre-trip, onboard, post trip, after-sales. In addition to this we have other service enablers connected to the battery system, chargers and other electromobility domains.
What will you do?
You will play a pivotal role in our organization by leading the architecture for service enablers. Enable collaboration between teams to align digital services for electromobility, and support and drive the roadmap for digital service enablers. Provide technical leadership in cloud migration, system integration, and process optimization.
Main expectations from this role are to:
• Lead the development of service enabler architecture for electromobility and enable collaboration cross-functionally.
• Design and lead API solution architectures for connected truck systems, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Architect and implement Azure cloud infrastructure, achieving production readiness within tight timelines.
• Develop and enforce DevOps guardrails, including GitHub pipelines and API authentication mechanisms.
• Manage cybersecurity architecture, conduct reviews, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Optimize AWS cloud architectures for performance, cost-efficiency, and other compliance.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment reliability and speed.
• Redesign legacy systems into scalable, cloud-agnostic platforms, reducing vendor dependency.
• Align IT strategies with business goals, driving cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Conduct system reviews to modernize infrastructure and ensure SLA compliance.
Who are you?
We believe that to be successful in the position, you are a team player and have a previous experience in the automotive industry and SW development. You have the ability to drive topics independently within the organization. You have a positive attitude, are kind to others, and enjoy being surrounded by energetic people with solution-oriented mindsets. If you want to have fun at work and be productive at the same time, this is the right place for you.
Requirements:
• Senior professional with more than 12 years of experience in software development.
